Gudeng Precision Industrial Co. Ltd. Celebrates Opening of Flagship U.S. Manufacturing Facility In Glendale

The new facility will create more than 30 Jobs and represents $5 million in investment

GLENDALE, AZ (October 7, 2026) — Gudeng Precision Industrial Co. Ltd, a Taiwan‑based semiconductor component manufacturer, celebrated the grand opening of its new flagship U.S. facility in Glendale, Arizona. Gudeng’s first manufacturing site in the U.S. will focus on semiconductor and aircraft and aerospace component manufacturing, supporting more than 30 new jobs and representing $5 million in capital investment.

The grand opening event on October 6 brought together leadership from Gudeng Precision Industrial Co., the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), representatives from the City of Glendale, and community leaders. Located at 5260 W. Phelps Rd., the new facility encompasses 12,000-square-feet.

“Today marks more than the opening of a new manufacturing facility - it marks the beginning of Gudeng’s long-term commitment to building our presence and capabilities in the United States,” said Bill Chiu, CEO of Gudeng Group. “We chose Arizona because of its exceptional aerospace and semiconductor ecosystems, highly skilled workforce, and strong commitment to advanced manufacturing and innovation. We are proud to make this investment in Glendale, Arizona,” Chio continued. “We sincerely appreciate the support of the Arizona Commerce Authority, the City of Glendale, GPEC, and our local partners. We look forward to building lasting partnerships, creating opportunities for Arizona’s workforce, and making a meaningful contribution to the state’s continued growth as a global center for advanced manufacturing.”

In its initial phase, Gudeng will establish foundational manufacturing operations, including aircraft CNC machining and precision inspection capabilities. Future phases will expand equipment capacity, and further integrate with Arizona’s broader aerospace and semiconductor supply chain.

“The opening of Gudeng’s new facility in Glendale highlights Arizona’s leadership within both the aerospace and semiconductor industries,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “Gudeng’s flagship U.S. facility will diversify the supply chain for both of these critical industries, showcasing Arizona’s attractiveness for global leaders in advanced manufacturing sectors.”

“On behalf of the City of Glendale, I am proud to welcome Gudeng Precision Industrial Co. and their flagship U.S. manufacturing facility to our community,” said Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers. “This investment strengthens Glendale’s growing aerospace and semiconductor industries while creating new opportunities for our workforce. I am incredibly excited to have Gudeng here and I look forward to watching their future success in Glendale."

The grand opening marks a major step in strengthening Gudeng’s U.S. presence and advancing new opportunities within the aerospace and semiconductor sectors.
